Week in Review

August 20, 2010

It seems this year has gone by so fast!!!  Can you believe that it is already the end of August? Sometimes I think I get so busy that it is easy for me to forget to stop and see what God has done. So, I thought it would be a good time to review.  I won’t talk about the whole year… I would be here all night typing! Instead I will focus on what God has done in GMO just this last week:

  • Had staff from our Orlando office visiting our Silicon Valley office for strategic meetings and planning sessions.
  • Recorded 32 videos for the New Believers Guide (get ready for the “new” one  to launch soon!)
  • Had two webinar training sessions for the ARC 2 launch on Monday. (If you’re an online missionary and haven’t done this yet, contact your community leader about where to find the training videos!!)
  • Witnessed a miracle in the form of having new storage space open up in our Silicon Valley office building (only God can get requests processed so fast!)
  • One staff member had a chance to pray with a man from Ghana, who called just to tell us he had prayed to receive Christ and asked for us to pray that he might be able to share his new faith with others.
  • Found this video on youtube about us. (This made my day to see people excited to partner with us to reach more people for Jesus!)
  • A new yogurt shop opened up around the corner. (Okay, this is one is more personal, but I really think it is MUCH easier to respond to ARC emails after a frozen yogurt treat.)

So, that was our week.  So many blessings! How about you?  How was your week?  What is God doing in and through you?

Yesterday, August 25, I was able to visit your beautiful offices in Plano, Texas. I was referred to your office from Joni and Friends. I live in a very rural area of East Texas and have a company called Disability Needs about 3 hours away. I look forward to learning more about your company.

Wow, just saw your sites — and especially this: greatcommission2020.com — amazing numbers!

Greatly impressed with what you guys have done; but most importantly amazed of how God is moving.

One suggestion: There are a lot of ways to get involved — giving, being a missionary, etc. But is there a need for “software developer/programmer contribution”?
